Other than some more Pachysandra ground cover, it’s really done now.
All of the excellent plant choices and most of the design are Eva’s. The three trees on the upper level are 2 new Kousa Dogwoods and a transplanted Florida dogwood (the center one). The upper level shrubs are Wintergem boxwoods. The tiny plants are creeping thyme ground cover. Plants on the lower level are all Sea Green Junipers.
We’re delighted with it and think it is really, really done now. The local mandarins have asked for no more spoils and the crime scene tape has been taken down.

Ooooh. Nice. Sounds like it’s been a long haul, but you endured to the end! Now get some stone carving chisels and sign your name 🙂 Who knows, you might just take up another hobby?

Like the stacked stone wall, good to take a break from making sawdust from time to time! Much different from my desert landscaping though.

Thanks John and Mary,
I can’t sign that wall because some other very talented guys did all the work. We had them sign their work with hand prints: Armando, Benjamin, Mose and Jose, as shown in an earlier entry.
My work was fending off the Village OFishHoles, going to court, and paying ransoms. Three weeks of real work, 6 months of hassle from petty mandarins.
